The BCHM has a small but well rounded archive that is focused on local history.  Staff can guide you in reviewing these records, but you must make arrangements at least 2 weeks in advance of your planned visit.   The Museum also has an extensive collection of local historic objects, some of which are redundant in type, so we do allow for loans of some of our specimens to other museums, libraries, or schools as long as secure display can be arranged. Please see the Archives & Library or Historic Collections sections of this website for additional information regarding our requirements for access and/or reproduction of available records.  All paperwork must be approved and signed before access will be permitted.
