FUNDRAISER FOR THE FORT!

The Fort is 60 years old this year, and is experiencing some structural fatigue to the second story catwalk that provides access to the Fort's Native American exhibits and some of the staged living quarters. There is a limited annual budget to care for the Fort's ongoing needs, and the cost of the catwalk replacement is above and beyond what is currently available. The upper rooms may have to remain off limits to visitors until the needed repairs are made. The estimated amount needed to complete the work is going to be $10,000. If you would like to contribute to the catwalk replacement, you can do so at the PayPal link on the Historical Complex's website (www.bchm-id.org), just make sure you add a note that it is for the Fort Hall Replica and Commemorative Trading Post.
